They started off with a small group of 12 people on their journey. It was 1981. They didn’t care about being daring explorers back when; they just wanted to throw open their front door and play. Everyone else should have been out there with them, too.

They wanted people to be able to go outside and enjoy nature without having to worry about the expense, so they produced high-quality goods at reasonable prices. This remains the most important factor.
