George and Mike Heaton started the high-end British brand Represent in 2011. Their clothes are a representation of how hard they work, how much they refine, and how far they progress. Expert workmanship is an unwavering factor that runs through every collection, silhouette, and individual garment; each piece is the outcome of a painstaking design and production process.
The goal is straightforward: to create the most prestigious brand on the planet.George Heaton’s realization that he could sell his painting on garments inspired him to start Represent as a student project. He started by screen printing his patterns onto blank garments that he sourced locally. The term “Representing” was chosen after a process of randomly selecting 15 names from a sheet of paper. At that point, a buddy advised George to stop using the prefix “-ing,” and the rest is history. Became a reality.
