Inkifi, founded by Jim and Paul, is a digital printing company that combines their passions for outdoor activities, surfing, and environmental conservation. Despite their differences, they met in the 90s in a surf town in North Wales. Jim’s background in photography and design allowed him to document his travels, while Paul’s passion for nature led him to pursue a career in environmental conservation. In 2008, they decided to set up a business in England, combining their backgrounds in photography and design with their business expertise.
Inkifi aimed to revolutionize the digital printing world by offering high-quality, environmentally friendly, and affordable digital travel images. They also aimed to facilitate printing from social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook. The project took a long time to come to fruition, but with dedication and hard work, Inkifi was born in 2012. The company’s products were officially approved by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FCS) in 2012, and the website was launched, followed by an app for iOS and Android devices.
