In 1999, two brothers who shared a love of whisky and other high spirits set out on their own to create a marketplace for them. After more than two decades, they’ve grown into the largest online specialised retailer of premium whiskies and spirits in the world, with three locations in London and a slew of critically acclaimed events.
The Whisky Exchange, with roots in London’s Park Royal, caters to a worldwide clientele of libation enthusiasts. They are obsessed with locating the finest whiskies, spirits, wines, and everything in between from all around the world. Their company is made up of people that love what they do and can’t see themselves doing anything else, all with the goal of spreading the delight of fine beverages to a growing audience.
Although they didn’t officially launch until 1999, our roots may be traced back to a London convenience store called “The Nest” in the 1970s. Sukhinder Singh and Rajbir Singh, creators of The Whisky Exchange, lived with their parents above the business, making The Nest not only their home but also their playground and, eventually, their work. They decided to venture into online shopping, which was then something of a wild west, using the knowledge they gained and Sukhinder’s enthusiasm for whisky collecting.

WHITE WINE

Grape juice fermentation results in white wine. The fact that it can be produced everywhere in the world means it is one of the most accessible alcoholic beverages. It’s possible to find a wide variety of styles and flavours among white wines, from light and citrusy Sauvignon Blancs and Chablis to rich and fragrant Viogniers and oaked Chardonnays.
RED WINE

In order to make red wine, grape juice is fermented. The fact that it can be produced everywhere in the world means it is one of the most accessible alcoholic beverages. The colour and tannins in red wines come from the extended time the grape juice spends in contact with the grape skins, a process known as maceration.
ROSÉ WINE

It’s no secret that rosés, which are light, fruity wines, have exploded in popularity in recent years. Once reserved for the warmer months, these beverages are now consumed year-round. Light-bodied and refreshing, these wines are typically produced by leaving red grapes in contact with the skins for only a brief period of time.
