Unveiling the Magic: Personal Journey with ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is “one of the most defining pop culture events of the decade” (Forbes), and there is magic in every scene. This time, though, the magic is returning to London’s West End with the eighth Harry Potter novel.

After saving the wizarding world 19 years ago, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are back for an incredible new adventure, this time with the help of a courageous new class at Hogwarts. The fate of the future is in the hands of the protagonists, so get ready for stunning spells, a mind-blowing dash through time, and an epic battle to stop strange powers.

In the words of The Hollywood Reporter, “thrilling theatricality and pulse-pounding storytelling” abound in this one-of-a-kind theatrical experience. “audibly wowed, cheering and gasping” is how The Telegraph described the audience’s reaction, while “visions of pure enchantment send shivers down your spine” was how Rolling Stone described the experience. Extraterrestrial, mystical, and a smashing success; so says The Times.

The world premiere of Jack Thorne’s new play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany, took place in London’s West End at the Palace Theatre in the summer of 2016.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

The audience experience begins long before the lights go down, through the magnificent lobby, and into the theater, as praised by The New York Times. Every aspect of the room, from the rugs and drapes to the wallpaper and light fixtures, contributes to the overall effect of fully submerging you in the world of Harry Potter. What an incredible feat of creativity!
