As a result of the excessive paper waste in the NHS, medical professionals founded e-Surgery in 2018.
Community pharmacies and hospitals alike use antiquated systems, which results in a high volume of printed prescriptions. Their group also believed that healthcare was inadequate worldwide, and the recent pandemic has only increased the urgency of the need for universal access to medical care.
As a medical professional who has worked for the National Health Service (NHS), I can attest to the fact that patients often have to wait weeks for even routine care because of excessive prescription practices and inadequate resources. My co-founder, who was working as an NHS pharmacist at the time, similarly noticed how funding cuts and other problems had caused patient care to deteriorate. – CEO, Thuria Wenbar
After witnessing the waste caused by antiquated prescription methods, I resolved to find a greener, more equitable method of providing healthcare. Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Oskar Wendowski
They at e-Surgery are pleased to offer low-cost, private healthcare services without leaving the convenience of your own home thanks to their innovative paperless prescribing system.
What is Acne?
The skin disorder acne is quite widespread and affects nearly everyone at some point in their lives. It manifests as acne patches, excess oil production, and in some cases, red, heated skin. The face, chest, and back are popular locations for acne to manifest. Changes in hormone levels, such as those that occur throughout puberty and the menstrual cycle, and hereditary factors are often cited as possible causes of acne.
Acne is quite widespread, affecting over 95% of persons aged 11-30 to varying degrees, but its causes are not always clear. Many times, a pharmacist will be able to recommend effective creams and treatments for mild to moderate acne.
Acne can have many different underlying causes, some of which are discussed on the NHS website.

- Zineryt Solution
- Epiduo Gel

- Tetralysal Capsules

Zineryt Solution
Acne can be treated topically with medicines like those found in Zineryt solution, which work by inhibiting the spread of the bacteria that cause the condition. * Please note that unless otherwise specified in the drop-down menu below, the pharmacist has already mixed this treatment for you. Epiduo Gel
Adapalene and benzoyl peroxide are the two components that are responsible for the therapeutic effects of the topical acne treatment known as Epiduo Gel.

Aknemycin Plus

Tetralysal Capsules
Tetralysal is a brand name for the antibiotic Lymecycline, which is a treatment for acne and is also available generically. Bacteria that are found on the surface of the skin can lead to infections and inflammation of the skin, both of which are potential contributing factors in the development of acne. Tetralysal is effective in removing infection from the affected area, which in turn lessens the visibility of acne and the development of whiteheads and blackheads. It can take the drug up to eight weeks to start having an impact. Their
medical staff will not dispense more than the equivalent of three months’ worth of medication at one time. The drug is to be consumed on a daily basis at the same time for a period of several weeks. Each capsule comes in a strength of 408 milligrams.
